Abstract
Manju Kapur’s Difficult Daughters deals with the yearning struggle of women to establish an identity. It is about a woman who is shredded by conflictual forces and torn apart by oppositional structures in life. The protagonist is caught between the dilemma of family duty and personal desires. Yet she gives preference to the latter and amidst extensive physical and emotional turmoil, exercises her choice which creates further emotional rift between herself and others. The paper explores how the novel focuses on the struggle of an educated young woman of middle-class against the norms of a family that cherishes old values of arranged marriage and how the protagonist of the novel is in pursuit for autonomy and selfhood. Moreover, the paper discusses India‘s history of freedom and the protagonist‘s struggle for freedom and identity.

Abstract
One of the most amazing and memorable times in a woman's life is giving birth. Whether the child is the first, second, or third doesn't really matter. When a viable foetus reaches 28 weeks or more, it naturally exits the uterus during labour. Most women are usually unable to enjoy childbirth because of their dread and worry around it. Women experience labour pain differently from one another and even from pregnancy. One of the most amazing and memorable times in a woman's life is giving birth. Pharmaceutical methods aim to eradicate the physical experience of labour pain, while non-pharmacological methods, like aromatherapy, hot application, massage therapy, breathing exercises, massage, acupressure, positioning, hot and cold therapy, and music guided imagery, are easy to use and safe ways to improve women's comfort and help them reach a good coping level for their labour experience without causing any problems for the mother or the foetus.

Abstract
This research explores image encryption technology, focusing on chaos-based and non-chaos-based block ciphers, and categorizing them by compression methods. Traditional encryption methods, such as AES and RSA, face challenges with image encryption due to pixel correlation and data volume. Chaos theory offers a promising alternative, with its sensitivity to initial conditions and stochastic behaviour aligning well with encryption needs. The study employs both qualitative and quantitative analyses, using primary and secondary data to assess security metrics like KA, NPCR, HA, UACI, IE, and CC. Practical limitations such as resource constraints and access to proprietary algorithms are acknowledged. The findings aim to enhance real-time image encryption applications, although generalizability may be limited.

Abstract
This study explores the application of Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) for software defect prediction, highlighting promising performance metrics while addressing critical challenges such as data imbalance, noise, and model interpretability. Despite achieving high precision for non-faulty instances, the models struggled with accurately identifying faulty components, underscoring the need for balanced F1-scores. Solutions proposed included SMOTE for data imbalance and noise reduction techniques like outlier detection. Optimization efforts focused on hyperparameter tuning and architecture refinement to enhance model robustness. Limitations included computational complexity and the interpretability of CNNs. Practical implications for software engineering involve improving defect detection to enhance software quality and efficiency. The implementation of CNNs demonstrated commendable precision and recall metrics for non-faulty instances, indicating a robust capability to identify correctly functioning software components. However, the models encountered difficulties in accurately detecting faulty instances, as reflected in lower recall rates and a notable number of false negatives. One of the primary challenges identified was the inherent imbalance in the dataset, where non-faulty instances significantly outnumbered faulty instances. This disparity skewed predictions towards the majority class, thereby reducing the model's effectiveness in identifying faults accurately. Proposed solutions included Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) and Adaptive Synthetic Sampling (ADASYN) to rectify this imbalance and improve model performance. Addressing noise, such as outliers and irrelevant data points, emerged as another critical area for enhancing model robustness.

Abstract
This thesis explores the effectiveness of domestic marketing campaigns in tailoring strategies to specific cultural nuances, revealing a widespread belief in their superiority over international efforts. An overwhelming 90.7% of respondents agreed or strongly agreed that domestic campaigns excel in this aspect, underscoring the importance of cultural sensitivity in marketing strategies. The findings suggest that businesses should prioritize localized approaches when entering new markets to enhance consumer engagement and brand resonance. This consensus highlights that understanding and addressing unique cultural aspects of home markets enables companies to create meaningful connections with consumers, leading to higher brand loyalty and better market penetration. The high level of agreement among respondents indicates that businesses recognize the significant competitive advantage that culturally attuned marketing campaigns provide.

Abstract
This study aims to evaluate the microbiological quality of commercially prepared yogurt available in the Nasik district of Maharashtra. Yogurt, a widely consumed dairy product, is known for its probiotic benefits, but its safety and quality can be influenced by various factors including manufacturing practices and storage conditions. A total of [insert number] samples from different brands and sources were collected and analyzed. Microbiological assessments included total viable counts, identification of lactic acid bacteria, and detection of pathogenic microorganisms such as Salmonella, Escherichia coli, and Listeria monocytogenes. The results indicated that while most samples met the safety standards for lactic acid bacteria and pathogenic microorganisms, a few brands showed higher levels of contamination or deviated from expected probiotic content. This study underscores the importance of stringent quality control measures in the yogurt production process and highlights the need for regular microbiological testing to ensure consumer safety and product quality.
